ALBANY – Dr. R. Mark Sullivan, President of The College of Saint Rose, announced at a press conference today that Liam Gleason has been named the College’s first head coach for men’s lacrosse. The announcement was made at the College’s new Plumeri Sports Complex that houses the Golden Knights men’s and women’s soccer, baseball and softball programs. It will furthermore be home to the Saint Rose men’s lacrosse squad that is set to play a limited varsity schedule in 2011-12 and a full NCAA Division II and Northeast-10 Conference slate in 2012-13.

ALBANY – An era of unprecedented growth within the athletics department at The College of Saint Rose will be highlighted by another milestone throughout the coming months. The College has announced that it will add the sport of men’s lacrosse with the goal of implementing a limited varsity schedule in 2011-12, and a full Northeast-10 Conference slate in 2012-13.

ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose is represented by 147 different student-athletes on the fall 2009 Northeast-10 Conference Commissioners’ Honor Roll. The Golden Knights are among some 2,719 student-athletes from the conference’s 16-member schools that earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (based on a 4.0 scale).
