LOWELL, MA – Host UMass Lowell scored twice within a 2:14 span in the second half to snap a season-long nine game losing streak in a 2-0 Northeast-10 Conference win over The College of Saint Rose men’s soccer team this afternoon in Lowell. It also kept the Golden Knights (2-13-1/1-10-1 NE-10) winless in their last 10 outings.

ALBANY – Defending Northeast-10 Conference champion Southern New Hampshire broke open a 0-0 deadlock by scoring three times within a five minute stretch throughout the final ten minutes of the first half en route to a 4-1 victory against The College of Saint Rose this afternoon. The Penmen (12-1-2/9-0-2 NE-10), ranked #5 in the most recent NSCAA/Adidas Division II Poll, ran their unbeaten stretch to 13 matches in the process.

ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose endured its fifth one-goal setback of the season with a 1-0 loss to visiting Northeast-10 Conference rival American International this afternoon. The Yellow Jackets (7-8-0/4-5-0 NE-10) scored in the opening five minutes and thwarted several opportunities by the Golden Knights (2-11-1/1-8-1 NE-10) to walk away from the UAlbany campus with their second consecutive victory following Saturday’s 3-2 home triumph against Assumption.
