MANCHESTER, NH – The College of Saint Rose dropped both ends of a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader at Southern New Hampshire to close out its 2009 campaign today. The Golden Knights (15-23/11-17 NE-10) suffered a 4-2 defeat in the opener, and fell 5-3 in the nightcap.

The Golden Knights have now won three of their last four games, while the Ravens remained winless (0-14) on the road this season.

The River Hawks (6-27-1/5-14-1 NE-10) then scored in every inning, but the fifth to take the nightcap 8-4 at Esposito Field.

However, the host Purple Knights (5-21/1-15 NE-10) snapped a 15-game skid via a two-out single in the fourth inning en route to a 2-1 triumph in the opener.
