ALBANY – A quartet of student-athletes have signed national letters of intent indicating their plan to participate for The College of Saint Rose women’s volleyball team this upcoming season. The four arrive from various parts of New York State, including the Long Island and the Rochester areas.

ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose is represented by five student-athletes on a pair of Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Teams in recognition of outstanding athletic and academic achievement from this past fall season. The teams were voted on by a contingent of administrators within the conference.

ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose women’s volleyball team had its three-match win streak come to an end as visiting Bentley University used a balanced attack to deliver a 3-0 (22-25, 23-25, 15-25) setback to the Golden Knights in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium tonight. The Falcons (15-11/10-4) had four players register at least five kills and recorded 12.0 total team blocks to stall the Saint Rose attack.

MANCHESTER, NH – The College of Saint Rose rallied from a 2-0 deficit to upend host Southern New Hampshire 3-2 in a Northeast-10 Conference match tonight. The Golden Knights (14-12/4-8 NE-10) took the third and fourth sets by respective scores of 25-15 and 25-22, before capping off the victory with a 15-13 fifth set triumph. Saint Rose has now won three of its last four after dropping its previous five matches.

ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose women’s volleyball team had four players record at least seven kills in a 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-21, 25-16) non-conference triumph over Millersville University today at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. The Golden Knights (13-12), who took an identical 3-1 victory over the Marauders (12-22) back on September 5, also improved to 10-4 in non-league contests this year.

The Yellow Jackets (15-9/6-6 NE-10) evened their league record while also winning for the fifth time in seven outings to spoil the opening night of Family Homecoming Weekend on the campus of Saint Rose.
