GOLDEN KNIGHTS FALL 5-0 AT FRANKLIN PIERCE

RINDGE, NH – Host Franklin Pierce scored three goals in the final five minutes to break open a 2-0 game en route to a 5-0 Northeast-10 Conference victory against The College of Saint Rose tonight. The Ravens (9-3-2/7-2-1 NE-10) ran their unbeaten stretch to five games (4-0-1) in the process, while the Golden Knights remained winless in each of their last six contests.
Franklin Pierce senior back Kevin Neumen knocked home a rebound in the eighth minute for what held up as the game-winner. Sophomore midfielder Victor Goncalves then made it 2-0 midway through the second stanza, before Franklin Pierce broke it open.

Patrik Ohlsson made a career high 14 saves, including 11 in the first half, to keep Saint Rose within striking distance. Sophomore Vinny Papageorgiou recorded two saves for the Ravens.
Up next, the Golden Knights have a 4:00 pm home date with NE-10 rival American International on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Franklin Pierce has a 3:30 pm league match at Bentley in Waltham, MA that same day.
