Vadim Yafayev missed the finals cut by a mere 0.25 seconds with an 18th place clocking of 1:53.18 in the 200-yard individual medley at the
NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships this morning. Meanwhile, freshman
Caitlin Brauer went 2:09.78 to wind up 31st among 54 participants in the women’s 200 IM at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, OH.
Up ahead, Yafayev and Brauer are both scheduled to swim the 400 IM tomorrow and then swim at least one event each on Friday and/or Saturday.
