ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose is represented by 144 different student-athletes on the spring 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. Overall, 164 Saint Rose student-athletes were named as 16 participated in more than one sport.
The Golden Knights are among some 2,704 student-athletes from the conference’s 16-member schools that earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (based on a 4.0 scale). Furthermore, the 144 Saint Rose representatives are derived from a demographic of 295 student-athletes that are members of the College’s 17 intercollegiate athletics programs and thus account for nearly 49.0 percent of the Golden Knights student-athlete population.
To be eligible for selection to the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded a minimum 3.0 semester grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the spring ’10 semester.
With 16 member institutions, the NE-10 shares the distinction of being the largest NCAA Division II conference in the country along with the PSAC and WVIAC. Its 23 championship sports provide athletic opportunities for more than 5,500 student-athletes, the largest such program of any Division II conference.
