Last Time Out: For only the second time in the past nine years, a team other than The College of Saint Rose claimed the Northeast-10 Conference Championship as host and top-seed Adelphi upended the Golden Knights 1-0 Sunday afternoon. In the process, the 12th ranked Panthers captured their first-ever NE-10 title. The contest was close throughout, but junior forward Laura Gomez created space for herself and sailed a shot home from just outside the area in the 60th minute for what proved to be the game-winner.
 
Last Meeting (11/12/05): The Golden Knights chalked up a 2-0 ECAC semifinal victory on the NJIT campus. Lindsay Bove scored in the 32nd minute and Sami Brown struck in the 71st to propel Saint Rose.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (15-3-3): Saint Rose is 24-10-3 all-time in NCAA Tournament contests…This is the 13th time in the past 14 years the Golden Knights have been awarded a berth…They have advanced to ten regional championship games and have made six national semifinal appearances (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014) within the past seven years…They furthermore captured the 2011 National Championship…Saint Rose is ranked #20 in the NSCAA National Poll and has won 15 games for the tenth consecutive year…Sophomore forward Morgan Burchhardt is the top offensive threat with a league-leading 30 points on nine goals and 12 assists…The latter places her third among the nation's top distributors… Senior forward Jennifer Busk and senior midfielders Amanda Vasquez, Gianna Smith, and Silvana Giovannone, along with freshman midfielder Danae Kaldaridou, have produced double-digit point totals as well…Seniors Nicole Shively and Michaela Phillips, and sophomores Elisa Galbiati and Totianyu Guadalupe, anchor a defense in front of freshman keeper Madison Taylor, that has recorded eight shutouts.
 
Scouting Philadelphia (10-8-2): Philadelphia captured its second straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) title with Saturday's 1-0 victory versus Caldwell on the campus of Post University in Waterbury, CT…The Rams are making their second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and second in school history…They have not surrendered a goal in their past seven matches, dating back to a 3-0 loss at LIU Post on October 15…Senior midfielder Carla Chmielewski, who accounted for Sunday's game-winner, paces the offense with 16 points on seven goals and a pair of assists…Senior keeper Courtney Shaw owns a 0.857 save percentage and a 0.71 goals-against-average.
