MANSFIELD, MA–Junior back
Nathan Brown and sophomore forward
Ryan Rooney represent The College of Saint Rose on the 2016
Northeast-10 Conference All-League squads as voted upon by the 15 head coaches.
Â
This marks the second consecutive, second-team All-Conference nod for Brown while Rooney garnered All-Rookie accolades a year ago.
Â
Rooney recorded the third-highest goal scoring total in Golden Knights (5-9-2/3-8-2) annals this past autumn. He finished tied for second among the league leaders with 13 strikes to go along with an assist. Four of his goals proved to be game-winners. He also manufactured 25 shots-on-target.
Â
Meanwhile, Brown anchored a defensive unit that surrendered just 1.56 goals per game. He was also a key link to the squad's transition scheme with his ability to carry the ball in full stride.
