Northeast-10 Preseason Poll
MANSFIELD, MA-The College of Saint Rose has been picked sixth in the
Northeast-10 Conference preseason poll as voted on by the league's 15 head coaches. The Golden Knights finished last season 12-12, 8-6 in NE-10 play, and reached the first round of the NE-10 Championship.

Two-time defending league champion Adelphi has been selected as the preseason favorite with 193 points and 13 first-place votes. Following the Panthers is Franklin Pierce (169), Bentley (161), New Haven (160) and Le Moyne (153).

The Golden Knights return five starters and 10 letterwinners from 2015. A two-time All-Conference First Team selection, senior outside hitter
Maryellen Devic finished fourth in the league last year with 3.22 kills and 0.40 aces per set. She is one of three captains in addition to senior setter
Erica Ziskin and senior middle blocker
Jennifer Gundrum.

Saint Rose, under the direction of first-year head coach
Vanessa Volpe-Rivera, will begin its season on Saturday, September 3 when it welcomes Concordia to Western Avenue for a 1:00 pm. match. League play opens against Le Moyne at home in the Upstate Challenge on Tuesday, September 20 at 7:00 pm.
