AS A SOPHOMORE: Garnered third-team NE-10 All-Conference accolades after averaging 15.4 points, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals per-game…Named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on three occasions (12/14/09, 1/4/10, and 2/8/10)…Led the conference and was 10th in the country in 3-point shooting accuracy…Finished second in free throw percentage…Buried 45.2 percent (70-for-155) of his long range attempts and canned 87.4 percent (76-for-87) of his opportunities from the stripe…Wound up 12th in the NE-10 in scoring and finished sixth behind 2.59, 3-pointers per-outing…Paced the Golden Knights in scoring a team-high 12 times…Was in double-figures on 21 occasions and ascended the 20 point plateau throughout eight contests…Made at least five, 3-pointers five times…Scored a career-high 27 points on two occasions, the most recent during a 74-70 victory versus Adelphi (2/9/10)…Recorded career-highs of six assists and six, 3-pointers in a 68-62 victory against visiting Concordia (12/18/09).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time All-State pick…Named a Channel 13 All-Star as a senior in 2007-08…Twice named a first-team All-Star by the Albany Times Union, Troy Record and Glens Falls Post-Star…The latter publication honored him as its Player of the Year following his senior season…Was a three-time Wasaren All-League pick as well…Scored 1,827 career points…Set a school single-game record with a 44 point performance…Named to the section II All-Tournament team in each of his last three years…Led all of section II with a 26.9 scoring average and 76, 3-pointers as a senior…Guided the Indians to the 2005-06 section II title…Also lettered in football…Played basketball for Bill Lanchantin.

This past summer he had the chance to work on his game with former Saint Rose All-American and NE-10 Player of the Year Steve Dagostino, which really helped elevate his game to another level. Shea is one of our hardest workers and we will look to him to provide leadership and continue to be a playmaker for our team as we move on this season.”
