2019-20  Scoreboard
Le Moyne College and The College of Saint Rose announced the formation of a new annual rivalry series, the Upstate Challenge, in the fall of 2011. The two schools square off in 16 sports in which they compete head-to-head in the regular season or during the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. The winner of the series is awarded the Upstate Challenge trophy. The competition originally included 14 sports, but grew to 16 at the outset of the 2014-15 season after the Dolphins added track and field programs

The Upstate Challenge utilizes a system that awards one point to the program that wins the season series. If a team competes only once during the regular season, the winner of the single game is awarded one point. In the case where teams compete multiple times during the regular season, a point will be awarded to the team winning the overall series. When a series is split, one half-point is awarded. When teams only meet during the NE-10 Championship, the team with the highest finish is awarded one point. For track and field, one-half point is awarded for each gender's championship, both indoor and outdoor, and thus two total points are at stake.

Last year, Le Moyne won the series for the third straight time to make the eight-year overall score 4-1-3 in favor of the Dolphins. Saint Rose gained points in women's soccer, women's cross country, outdoor track & field, and women's volleyball, and half a point in women's basketball and indoor track & field.
