ALBANY – This Tuesday evening is Bingo Night at The College of Saint Rose. However, it is not your grandmother's bingo game, but a much more enjoyable version.

Sports Bingo is making its debut at tomorrow's men's soccer game between the Golden Knights and Northeast-10 Conference rival Franklin Pierce. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex. Paesan's Pizza is the official sponsor of the event.

The first 100 Saint Rose students in attendance wearing Golden Knights apparel will be eligible to play and win prizes.

Sports Bingo combines the simplicity of bingo along with the sophistication that no two cards are alike. Thus, competitors are not only able to enjoy the experience, but will learn more about the game of soccer itself.

There are 24 soccer events on each playing card; the center spot is free, that each competitor must mark off as they occur throughout the game. The first competitor to get bingo wins and is thus eligible for prizes. Remember, that events can take at any point during the game, so it is key that competitors pay attention at all times.
